baby's first blog post.

I feel like there's a lot of pressure on the first post...Let me just start out by saying I never thought I would have a blog. I've never been the type to keep a diary, never been able to commit to consistency, and certainly never found it necessary to divulge my thoughts, ramblings and ideas to all of cyberspace. Recently, however, I started taking journalism classes. In one of these classes, my professor encouraged the class to constantly be on the lookout for that untold story. This got me thinking about all the things--big and small--that are ignored each and every day, unrecognized by the busy people we are. So I've decided that for the next year, I will make a list of things that make me happy that don't usually get more than a few seconds thought...We'll see where it takes me.
